Case study summary: Building the corporate story for a successful fundraise
The Challenge
A growing company was preparing for a Series B raise and needed to attract new investors beyond its Series A backers. Its marketing-led story did not fully address the needs of the capital markets.
Our role
We developed a clearer corporate narrative that connected the business strategy with investor priorities, bringing the perspectives of key stakeholders into the process. We also strengthened engagement with corporate and financial media.
The Outcome
A revised brand narrative that spoke to the capital markets, supported a successful fundraise and provided a stronger platform for subsequent corporate activity.

Case study summary: Protecting value during a strategic pivot
The Challenge
A fintech business changed strategy deciding to divest its core operation and realise the value of a business unit with significant growth potential. Unexpected change created risks for staff, customers and the value of the business being sold.
Our Role
We supported communications through the transition, helping management keep employees informed, maintain customer confidence and reduce the risk of uncertainty being exploited by competitors.
The Outcome
The transition proceeded smoothly, the business being divested retaining value and the sale was completed alongside the launch of a new standalone brand.

Case study summary: Protecting reputation when facts are disputed
The Challenge
A successful yet low-profile international business leader faced inaccurate associations with historic events. The reporting risked damaging both their personal and business reputation.
Our Role
We worked in lockstep with the client's legal advisers to engage with relevant media, challenge inaccurate claims and ensure that reporting was grounded in verifiable facts.
The Outcome
The work helped limit further inaccurate coverage and supported the correction or removal of false claims through the appropriate legal processes. It also informed a longer-term programme to strengthen reputational resilience.

Case study summary: Establishing quickly a communications function to support a business and legal strategy.
The Challenge
A hitherto low-profile manager of luxury assets was being brought into a developing negative geopolitical issue attracting host-nation and other third-party regulatory attention.
Our Role
To keep the brand away from press coverage on the issue and ensure that any reporting was accurate and proportionate and that all communications aligned with the legal strategy in place, giving management bandwidth to engage with authorities, in order to protect the business.
The Outcome
A communications' function was established fully integrated with the legal strategy and reduced press and digital coverage, ensuring any comment was accurate or challenged, giving management and legal the time and space needed to navigate the issue.

Case study summary: Strengthening the investment story ahead of an IPO
The Challenge
A company approaching an IPO needed to build investor interest and ensure that its equity story was understood consistently across the transaction.
Our Role
We helped improve the flow and coordination of information among the parties involved, enabling the retained financial PR team to communicate the investment case more effectively.
The Outcome
The IPO was fully subscribed and the share register stabilised after listing. A subsequent communications programme focused on building the company's profile and explaining its growth and investment story.
-
Case study summary: Post-deal integration to retain specialist expertise and customer confidence
The Challenge
A PE backed platform consolidator acquired a competitor, but integration of the marketing and communications functions was complicated as differing skill-sets and SME's needed to be retained making efficiencies hard to find, a challenge complicated by a distributed work force across the UK.
Our Role
To retain SMEs in both businesses communications' functions and to quickly deliver a coherent post-acquisition corporate narrative to ensure customers remained settled and competitor actions gained no traction.
The Outcome
An integrated and settled communications' function working across locations and delivering output as management required, efficiently and effectively supporting the commercial objectives of the business; identifying a new head of function to manage an integrated communications team.
-
Case study summary: Increasing post-acquisition integration capacity and capability
The Challenge
A PE-backed consolidator faced a complex integration and needed additional resources to back-stop an internal function with senior resource known to the SMT.
Our Role
To provide additional layered resource to a core consolidation function navigating the commercial, communications, brand, people and customer integration segments to ensure change management objectives were met.
The outcome
An enhanced function that completed the non-linear integration programme, that was flexible (capacity and skill-set) and able to support the change-programme as it responded to business needs.

Case study summary: Facilitating board and management to see “through the trees” and providing a new framework to engage investors
The Challenge
A profitable London listed company’s share-price was persistently low and did not reflect positive progress in the business, hampering the company’s opportunity for corporate action.
Our Role
The company had a good story but was not telling it effectively. A new equity story was developed, the buy-side buy-side was engaged systematically, and the company made more visible amongst key target investor.
The outcome
A successful re-rating: The share price increased significantly over the four years of the contract.
